Kate Schoenberg of the Spring Hill FFA chapter won a drawing for a John Deere Gator during the 90th Kansas FFA State Convention, May 30–June 1, 2018, on the Kansas State University campus.

Schoenberg’s name was drawn from 10 finalists which were randomly selected from a pool of members who completed one of the following requirements for entry: submitted an application for the American or State FFA Degree, participated in the agriscience fair, received an agri-entrepreneurship award, or were honored as a proficiency award winner or District Star winner.

Schoenberg was eligible for the drawing because she received her State FFA Degree. Her advisor is Alicia Hampton.

The drawing is sponsored by the John Deere Agriculture and Turf Division, Bucklin Tractor, Carrico Tractor Company Incorporated, Concordia Tractor Incorporated, Heritage Tractor, Hiawatha Implement, Landmark Implement, O’Malley Implement and Prairie Land Partners.

“We are able to recognize and reward the outstanding accomplishments of our members, thanks to the continued support from the John Deere Dealers in Kansas,” said Quentin Umphenour, Kansas FFA Treasurer.
