The Chapman FFA chapter won first place in the state scrapbook competition at the 89th Kansas FFA State Convention, May 31–June 2, 2017, on the Kansas State University campus.

The scrapbook competition gives FFA members a chance to showcase their chapter’s accomplishments throughout the last year. Chapman FFA was awarded first place in the contest, exhibiting the most quality scrapbook complete with member activities and media documentation.

“In addition to serving as a record of activities for FFA chapters, scrapbooks also are an important resource to encourage prospective and new members to learn more about chapter activities,” said Mary Kane, Kansas FFA Association executive secretary.

Nineteen chapters participated in the competition. Logan FFA took second place, Cherryvale FFA won third place, and Girard FFA took fourth place.
