The Southeast of Saline FFA chapter won first place in the state scrapbook competition at the 91st Kansas FFA Convention, May 29–31, 2019, on the Kansas State University campus.

The scrapbook competition gives FFA members a chance to showcase their chapter’s accomplishments throughout the last year. Southeast of Saline FFA was awarded first place in the contest, exhibiting the most quality scrapbook complete with member activities and media documentation.

“Scrapbooks serve as a record of activities for FFA chapters,” said Miranda Depenbusch, 2018-19 Kansas FFA State Reporter. “They are an important resource to encourage prospective and new members to learn more about chapter activities.”

Nineteen chapters participated in the competition. Logan FFA took second place, Arkansas City FFA won third place, and Girard FFA took fourth place.
