Sabetha FFA Wins State Ritual Event

Sabetha FFA team members were recognized for placing first in the state in the State Ritual Leadership Development Event (LDE) at the opening ceremony of the 90th Kansas FFA State Convention, May 30–June 1, 2018, on the Kansas State University campus.

In the Ritual Demonstration LDE, FFA members must demonstrate outstanding delivery and presentation skills for the FFA Opening Ceremony.

The Sabetha FFA chapter was awarded first place in the Ritual Demonstration LDE. Rock Creek FFA chapter placed second, Hugoton FFA chapter received third and Clay Center FFA chapter placed fourth.

Competing on the winning Ritual Demonstration LDE team were Morganne Kruse, Hunter Lowdermilk, Brandon Brownlee, Kamden Brownlee, Rebecca Craig and Cody Meyer. The advisor is Chris Bauerle.

As the state winner, the Sabetha FFA chapter has the opportunity to present opening ceremonies during the third session of the 90th Kansas FFA Convention.
