Anna Cohorst of the Marysville FFA chapter won a drawing for a John Deere Gator during the virtual 92 nd Kansas FFA Convention, May 27-29, 2020.

Cohorst’s name was drawn from 10 finalists which were randomly selected from a pool of members who completed one of the following requirements for entry: submitted an application for the American or State FFA Degree, participated in the agriscience fair, received an agri-entrepreneurship award, or were honored as a proficiency award winner or District Star winner.

Cohorst was eligible for the drawing because she received her State FFA Degree. Her chapter advisors are Cassandra Schoemann and Shelby Siemens.

The drawing is sponsored by the John Deere Agriculture and Turf Division, American Implement Inc., BTI, Carrico Implement Co. Inc., Heritage Tractor Inc., Hiawatha Implement Co., Landmark Implement Inc., Plains Equipment, and Prairie Land Partners.

“Our Gator Giveaway is a symbol not only representing the work of our members but of the partnerships that strengthen our association. John Deere corporate and local partners are a piece in the network of Kansas FFA supporters that allow us to continue providing experiences and celebrating member accomplishments,” said Abby Goins, 2019-2020 Kansas State FFA Vice President. “This Gator shows the vast opportunity for members to grow, achieve, and succeed within our association due to our partnerships.”
