Holton FFA Wins State Parliamentary Procedure Event

Holton FFA team members were recognized for placing first in the state in the Parliamentary Procedure Leadership Development Event (LDE) at the opening ceremony of the 90th Kansas FFA State Convention, May 30–June 1, 2018, on the Kansas State University campus.

In the Parliamentary Procedure LDE, FFA members must demonstrate proficiency in using proper procedure to efficiently run a meeting.

Holton FFA was awarded first place in the contest. Labette County FFA placed second, Girard FFA placed third and Mission Valley FFA placed fourth.

Team members from the Holton FFA chapter include Bridget Kucan, Alexys Campbell, Grace Utz, Joshua Clark, Savannah Phillips, and Quinn Kennedy.

As the state Parliamentary Procedure LDE winner, Holton FFA has the opportunity to represent Kansas at the 2018 National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana. This award is sponsored by the CHS Foundation.
