Chapman FFA Member Wins Kansas FFA Employability Skills Event

Natalie Harris, from the Chapman FFA chapter, earned first place in the Employability Skills Leadership Development Event (LDE) at the 89th Kansas FFA Convention, May 31–June 2, 2017, on the Kansas State University campus.

Harris took home the top honor in the LDE, which challenges members to prepare a detailed resume and professional application and to participate in mock interviews. With her win, she is eligible to represent Kansas at the 2017 National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Receiving second place in the Employability Skills LDE was Megan Nelson from the Chapman FFA chapter. Audrie Bailey, Winfield FFA chapter, received third place, and Peyton Horn from the Blue Valley FFA chapter placed fourth.
