Buhler FFA team members were recognized as first in the state in the State Leadership Quiz Bowl Career Development Event (CDE) at the 87th Kansas FFA State Convention opening ceremony, May 27, on Kansas State University’s campus.

The Leadership Quiz Bowl gives members an opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge of FFA and its foundation. The team answering the most questions correctly, in front of a live audience, is determined as the winner.

Buhler FFA was awarded first place in the contest. Following Buhler, placing second was Girard FFA, Anderson County FFA received third and Hill City FFA placed fourth.

Competing on the winning Buhler FFA quiz bowl team were: Bailey Peterson, Kasey Hogan, Jacob Grinstead, Dakota Roberts, Nate Dick and Amber Finney.
